Note the sentence: "Ella quiere enseñarle Barcelona a David". Literally: "She wants to show him Barcelona to David" (where "him" also refers to "David").
This is the doubling of the indirect object, typical for Spanish. (The direct object of the sentence is "Barcelona".)
Note also: Personal pronouns (yo, tú, él, ella, etc) are often dropped in Spanish unless they are needed for clarity or emphasis.

- despertar - to wake (sb) up
- ella le* despierta - she wakes him up
- a las dos en punto - at two on the dot
- llamar - to call
- ella le* llama - she calls him
- ¡despierta! - wake up! (imperative, familiar)
- es la hora del almuerzo - it's lunch time
Note that on two occasions (*), the female speaker uses the indirect pronoun object "le", instead of the direct masculine pronoun "lo".
This use of "le" (called "léismo") is a "dialectal variation in the Spanish language that occurs largely in Spain.
It involves using the indirect object pronoun 'le' in place of the (standard) masculine direct object pronoun 'lo', especially when the direct object refers to a male person." (Wikepedia)
Don't worry about this form, just be aware of it. You'll hear it when you travel to Spain .

Spanish Language Story: Part 2 of David's trip to Spain (El viaje de David 2 - En Barcelona).
Level: Elementary (A2).
Playing Time: 6 minutes (The Story and Word Shoot Game)
David is at his aunt and uncle's place in Barcelona. After he's had something to drink and taken a quick nap, he asks his uncle if he could show him some old family photos. The next days, David's cousin María shows him around the city. They go to see La Sagrada Familia, a magnificent church built by the architect Antonio Gaudí. On another day, they go shopping on the famous Paseo de Gracia. Afterwards, they go to a café (una cafetería) and have something to drink: una horchata (a drink made from tigernuts) and un cortado (an espresso with milk).
Hear and read Part 2 of David's trip in Spanish. It contains 130 basic words and phrases, all in context.
Play the story several times and try to listen without translating the words.
Say each sentence aloud after (or along with) the native speaker.

David flies from Boston to Barcelona. On the plane, he chats in Spanish with the woman sitting next to him. At the Barcelona airport he gets picked up by his aunt Carmen, who lives in Barcelona.
Hear and read Part 1 of David's trip in Spanish. It contains 120 basic words and phrases, all in context.
Play the story as often as you like. Try to understand as much as you can without translating.
