Spanish Language Game: Por teléfono (On the phone) 
In this quick online game, learn and practice 11 Spanish words and phrases in the context of a mini-story.
David has arrived in Granada, where he's going to visit Daniel, a Spanish friend he had met back in Boston.
He only has a land-line number, which he calls. A woman answers, who tells him she's Daniel's girlfriend.

Speaking on the telephone in a language you're learning has to be a little bit scary. But by practicing basic telephone phrases your confidence will grow. 
If you're traveling in Spain you'll be talking on the phone sooner or later. So you might as well get ready.

This short episode is also part of our Spanish 1 course, which is a series of brief stories (that we call scenes).

Practicing with mini-stories is a great way to get more familiar with Spanish pronunciation and idiomatic expressions.
Note that in Spanish, personal pronouns (I, he, she, we, etc.) are often dropped unless they are needed for clarity or emphasis.
