Spanish Language Game: Days of the Week

Quick Spanish Language Game - Days of the Week
Level: Beginner (A1)
Playing Time: 4 minutes

For English speakers, Spanish Days of the Week are not that easy to remember: Except, maybe, for sábado (Saturday), the Spanish days resemble  very little their English counterparts. (It's a little easier for those who are familiar with the Italian or French days of the week.)
But, if you play this game a few times, you'll quickly get the hang of it! You'll play them first in order and then out of order.

Spanish days of the week are not capitalized.
They are all masculine, and note the accent on the words for Wednesday and Saturday.
Important: When you play, say the Spanish OUT LOUD. It'll help you improve your pronunciation and listening comprehension.

Spanish Days of the Week

  • lunes - Monday
  • martes - Tuesday
  • miércoles - Wednesday
  • jueves - Thursday
  • viernes - Friday
  • sábado - Saturday
  • domingo - Sunday
  • la semana - the week
