Italian Language Game: "Piacere".  The terms "piacere", "mi dispiace", "a lui piace", "piacevole" come up often in conversational Italian.
Practice hearing and saying them with this interactive quick game.

  • il piacere - the pleasure
  • piacere mio - my pleasure
  • un viaggio di piacere - a pleasure trip
  • Piacere di conoscerti. - Pleased to meet you. (fam.)
  • mi dispiace - I'm sorry
  • Mi dispiace non posso. - I'm sorry I can't.
  • Non c'è, mi dispiace. - S/he's not here, I'm sorry.
  • piacere - to like
  • A lui piace la città. - He likes the city.
  • A lui piace quella atmosfera. - He likes that atmosphere.
  • piacevole - pleasant
  • una persona piacevole - a pleasant person
