German Language Game: "sein"

Learn and practice the present tense of "sein" (to be), with this fun 3-minute interactive Quick German Language Game. The verb is irregular.

Note: the 3rd person singular is the same for "he" "she" and "it": er ist, sie ist, es ist.

Note also: "they are" is "sie sind," and the formal "you are" is "Sie sind." They sound the same, but "Sie" (you, formal) is always capitalized. You'll know from the context of a conversation which one is meant.
