German Language Game: Vocabulary Quiz #5

In this German Language Game, Vocabulary Quiz #5, you can playfully test your knowledge of basic German vocabulary. You'll learn new words and phrases as you play.

The words, phrases, and sentences in this Quiz come from Level 5 of GamesforLanguage's German 1 Story - "Michael in Deutschland"- in which Michael visits Munich and enjoys the Deutsche Museum and the Hofbräuhaus.

And, if you need to brush up on your German - just log-in again or register.

To refresh your memory you can listen to the German 1 Level 5 Podcast.

The Vocabulary lists of the six Scenes of Level 5 can  be downloaded as PDFs on the Playing page of the German 1 Story.

Just using a couple of his language hacks consistently will accelerate your progress!

We recently discovered a very effective app for learning German: MosaLingua. There currently are iOS and Android apps, with a MosaLingua Desktop App for PC, Mac and Linux just out. You can also try out the "Lite" version for FREE! We like the apps a lot and are currently using them ourselves. Read Ulrike's Review HERE.
